Henry and Mudge are friends that go in some adventures in the summer and have a fun time with whatever they are doing. This is a great book to use for younger readers who want to read "chapter" books, because they are very short chapters and have a lot of pictures. It's a good book to use for

I have a lot of respect for Henry's mom. In some ways I want to be her, with a big porch & yard & trees, and long dresses and bare feet - but I don't want a huge slobbery dog, thank you.
