In my desire to read things chronologically, I've read this novella prior to reading any of the rest of the Legend series. As far as I can tell, it gives us a nice sneak peek into the world in which we're about to immerse ourselves in the next 3 books. We meet a boy, Day, in the first section and

learn a bit about his life in this dystopian type world. In the second section we meet a girl, June and see what her life is like in the same world. Some events overlap a bit in the two sections. I'm eager to read more. Show Less
