A great book to be part of the Middle School series. I bought the first book in the series for my classroom and it became a big hit. I know that this one will join it and be a very checked out book. Boys will definitely like it, even though this one is told from Rafe's sisters point of view. It

even has a twist at the end that was unexpected but a good addition to the story.

In this Middle School book Rafe Khatchadorian's sister Georgia Khatchadorian gets to tell her side of the story for once. in this book she shows how her brother is a "big fat liar." but in this book she tells you about her troubles and problems. Also she discovers that the reason shes nothing like

the rest of her family is because she's adopted! she also has a bully problem just like Rafe did, just shes got a problem with the schools "Queen" Missy Trillin she practically runs the school. She already has a bad reputation because of her brother last year so she trys to prove shes not as bad as him.

Not everything that happens to her is bad though, she made three friends, Nanci, Mari and Patti. She starts a rock band with them called "We Stink" the name is very literal. The band didn't have a singer until a girl named Rhonda who doesn't really fit in at her school. She gets asked to the schools dance by a Boy named Sam. At the end of the book things start to look up. One is her band actually plays really good at the school's Battle of the bands. Two she finally gets back at Missy for being so mean by accidentally embarrassing her in-front of the whole school. Lastly she gets to dance with Sam. At the end of the book her and her brother a back to the same old game of war.

I liked this book because it shows the other side to the story, it is full of jokes and funny illustrations, and has very good imagery. I think the book is good because of it showing the other side of the story because readers are so used to reading Rafe's point of view but never his little sister's. I found the pictures in this book funny and perfect to add a funny element to the story. Lastly the way James Patterson wrights his books puts a great image of whats going on inside of the readers head.

Told by Rafe's sister, this book takes place after the previous, as opposed to coinciding with either of the previous. Despite being her brother's opposite, Georgia slowly unveils her own issues and secrets - is middle school kind to anyone? We also get to see the love of Rafe's life through a

different perspective that makes the reader realize Rafe might not be the most reliable of narrators.

Georgia Khatchadorian--the sister of the star of the first two Middle School books, Rafe Khatchadorian--plans to excel at Hills Village Middle School in all the places her troublemaking brother failed. She's even bet him that she'll quickly become one of the most popular girls in school. But Rafe left a big mark at HVMS, and no one will give Georgia a chance! Even worse, Rafe has sneakily set her up to embarrass herself in front of the snooty "Princesses" who run the school and the boy who's caught her eye.
