With tiny paws come tiny responsibilities, y'all.

This is every bit as amazing (and more) as I hoped it would be.

I got a copy of this book to review through NetGalley(dot)com. I have read a lot of the Pusheen web comics and enjoyed them, so I was excited to give this book a read. It is an okay book, that is more cutesy than funny.

Pusheen reminds of Hello Kitty with a more typical cattitude. This book is
Show More
broken into different sections: an intro to Pusheen, what you need to know about cats, how to live, intro to Stormy (Pusheen’s younger sibling), and A Year in the Life of Pusheen.

This would make a cute little coffee table book...especially for someone who's a fan of the Pusheen blog/webcomic.

There is not a ton of content here. I got this for review and breezed through it in maybe 20 minutes. Some of the cartoons will be funny to cat lovers. Some of it is just kind of cutesy.

An effort is made to stick with theme of each section of the book. It was okay. I appreciate that they tried to give this book a purpose and organization for the cartoons. However, I think it would have been a better book if they would have just had the cartoons in there and not force them to a chapter theme.

I really feel like this could have been a bit more clever and funny. I have seen other Pusheen comics that really make me laugh and there wasn’t a ton of those in this book.

Overall this was a cute book but nothing fantastic. It’s one of those books you can lay on the coffee table and someone can pick it up and page through the whole things in 15 minutes and go “Oh, that was kind of cute” and then it will be forgotten. I guess if you are a huge Pusheen fan or cat fan go to the bookstore and give it a look through.

This tells of the adventures of Pusheen the cat as well as tips for cat owners and potential cat owners.

This is a quick, cute, hilarious read.

The drawings are fun and adorable. Humor filled tag lines adorn and help explain the drawings.

Overall, a fun read!

Pusheen is a cat that likes food, blogging, and sleeping. Her BFF (and little sister) is Stormy who is super fluffy and likes to chase things.

I had so much fun hanging with Pusheen and Stormy, that I went online to Pusheen.com and explored the blog where the original animated comics developed. I
Show More
instantly fell in love; it's such a cute place filled with kitties, happiness, and animated food!

If you have children, I'd definitely recommend this book to kids old enough to read (maybe 4+ yo) I shared the book with D, a five year old I babysat today, and he absolutely loved it! He was pretty much giggling the whole time. Cat lovers of all ages would be thrilled to find this book in their stocking on Christmas Day (hint, hint).

Many thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Sweet and cute 'how-to' book about how to live as Pusheen lives.

Don't know what to get the person on your list that likes cats? Get this, it is cute and will bring a smile to anyone's face that has ever had a cat. Based on a web cartoon but not necessary to have any prior knowledge to enjoy this book. Cute pastel colors and a rotund gray cat that is nothing
Show More
like Garfield, how can you go wrong.

I Am Pusheen the Cat by Claire Belton is another webcomic (pusheen.com) to make the transition to print. Pusheen is a round gray cat who in short panel comics offers advice and commentary on popular culture.

On the blog many of the Pusheen comics are animated gifs. These gifs circulate beyond the
Show More
blog, being very popular on Tumblr, and to a lesser degree, Facebook and Twitter.

The book goes back to the early days of the blog. Pusheen introduces herself and lays out the basic rules for being a cat, as well as thoughts on why being a cat is cool.

Pusheen appeals to cat lovers of all ages, Children who have cats will be attracted to the cat's adorable and simply drawn antics. Older readers can de-stress for half an hour as they read through the book.

Aaaaa-dorable. This is a quick read... and by read, I mean it's mostly illustrations. Sweet, sweet, adorable illustrations. At my library it's classified as a young adult graphic novel which is very misleading. It's not really a kids book either though (it's 175 pages), do I have no idea how to
Show More
best shelve it. Regardless, it's an adorable collection of Pusheen images. Pusheen cooking, being lazy, eating, sleeping, getting ready for holidays, etc. Super cute. A must for fans of the internet sensation or of cute adorable cats.

If you are sick of cute cat memes, you may turn away from Pusheen on first glance, but that would be a mistake. Yes, it's cute. Very cute. Yes, it's about a cat(s). But Pusheen has a freshly simplistic art style and minimalist wit that completely won me over.

Pretty damn cute. I love Pusheen.

I am not the audience for this. I'm a dog person. I really need to stop picking up random books at the library.

Pusheen is a popular webcomic that in recent years has amassed quite the following. It’s hard to say exactly why I love Pusheen but it could have something to do with the fact that the art is insanely cute and that Pusheen slightly resembles my own cat, Gertie. They’re both grey, impossibly
Show More
large and equally obsessed with food.

Full Disclosure: I received an advanced copy from the publisher in exchange for a review.

Pusheen’s first foray into the literary world is in the form of a collection of her most beloved comics. The concept of taking the best of an online comic and compiling it into a physical book always confused me. Don’t get me wrong, the artist behind the work certainly deserves to be compensated, I just wonder why someone would want to buy material they can access for free online. I guess that’s a common dilemma brought about by the presence of widespread online piracy but that’s a subject for another time.

While you’re not particularly getting anything new with this book, you are getting the best of Pusheen in a solid, tangible form. Which is a plus – especially if you want to let your kids read it. It’s funny and cute enough for the young ones but also something that adults can enjoy equally. You know, like a Pixar film.

If you liked the book and haven’t visited Pusheen’s online presence, you’re doing yourself a disservice. On the blog, the artist often animates the comics which brings a whole new life to the character. Check it out!

A collection of the online Pusheen the Cat comics. If you know Pusheen then I don't have to tell you how cute this book is. If you don't, well, this book is adorable. Pusheen is the ultimate cat and will tell you all the important cat things you need to know. Like, cats prefer boxes to the toys
Show More
that come inside of them, and that it's super important the food dish always be full.

Cute furry, laugh out loud, adorable. Pusheeh, is an adorable chubby grey tabby cat, who has short bits of wisdom to share with the world. He has the ability to bring a smile to the simplest of activities.
I have seen a few gifs, and drawing of him before this book. But I had no idea of his range as
Show More
an actor. This adventurous cuddly cat is full of fun. This would be a great coffee table book. Simply drawn and yet filled with emotional value.
