The Hunters is the 3rd book in the Presidential Agent series and in my opinion is not a stand along book. While there is a small arc in this book it begins and ends in the middle of the story. Once again Charlie and company are on a roller-coaster ride alternating between trying to catch up to the

bad guys, and trying to stay ahead of them. We learn a lot more about the conspiracy and a lot more people die. Charlie is getting closer to his goal and the stakes keep rising. Organizational Analysis seems to be collecting agents like moths to the flame. Charlie and crew also seem to be doing their best to burn through their 'operating funds'.

Charlie started to annoy me a little in this book, he seems to start apologizing to upper people when he should keep his mouth shut, doesn't apologize to underlings when he should and tends to antagonize friends for no good reason. Overall I enjoyed the book and I can't wait to listen to the next one, but good ol' Charlie needs to start paying more attention to how he treats people and get a better understanding of his power and the appropriate uses of it.

Great series great book with men and women who believe in what they are doing and are willing to risk anything to get it done. Good book worth the time to read.

The Hunters by W.E..B. Griffin was not a very good book. I did not enjoy this book as much as the Hostage. I expected alot more from this book than I actually got.

I think that this book could have been written better. it was hard to understand. i had to go back multiple times. it was not a fun

Another great book in the Presidential Agent series. I enjoyed the interaction of the many US agencies and wondered in amazement how all of these things might come to pass in the real world. Nevertheless...on to book #4.

An interesting book....clinical even by Griffin standards. The plot was well-constructed, but most of the book was about the "procedure" of dealing with the rare moments of something really happening. It seemed certain characters were further developed in this series at the expense of action, but

like I said, it was an interesting book. I read the first two in this series some time ago, so it took a bit to get back into the overall plot of this series.
