Searching for Someday was a good 4 star book. I have to say that this was the first Jennifer Probst book I have ever read and I was a little surprised in that because she has some awesome titles out. And I’m glad that I picked this one. Kate is special, although she doesn’t necessarily feel that way. She feels as if its more of a curse. Until one day Slade walks in. But he is a non-believer in love. And being a divorce Lawyer doesn’t help him regain any belief in love. But little do either one of them know that Love has its own plan.

This was a wonderfully romantic book. It was sweet and had heat in all the right places. A wonderful storyline, that was written perfectly.

MY REVIEW:

I’ve always been a fan of Jennifer. In fact, I’m often the one turning other readers into fans of hers. Her stories are often packed with a funny sexiness that just can’t be found elsewhere.

This story was no different.

I love the new series, and I’m quick to jump on to find a new circle of characters to fall in love with. Jennifer didn’t disappoint with her new release, Searching for Someday.

Kate is this cute dating connection owner who doesn’t see herself as having much luck in love or dating. She tries to throw herself into work and finds a new customer coming through her company, trying to prove her for the scam he thinks she is. You see, a brother has to protect his sister at all costs—and she’s just signed on his for her business.

It was fun watching her (try) to prove him wrong, and it was lovely to watch as both characters had their walls—so to speak—broken down. Another message and a love for pets was subtly placed in the book, and it was so touching, it was hard not to love.

I highly recommend this book for any fans of books such as J. Kenner, Jill Shalvis, and Sylvia Day. This book will fit in right with your favorites and make you a believer in happily ever afters.

Four and a half stars out of five.

Searching for Someday is a fun romance, great beach read, and a book that will leave you believing in love. Kate is the optimistic cautious owner of a matchmaking company, who dedicates her life to helping others find their soul mates. Blessed with the gift of a touch that alerts her to people's
Show More
true matches, she runs a successful business with two of her closest friends.

When jaded divorce lawyer, Slade, threatens to bring down her company out of fear that his little sister who enrolled may have been scammed, Kate knows the only way to prevent a law suit is to take on this dangerous man as a client. Can a divorce lawyer ever truly believe in love? When sparks fly between them, Kate will have to make one of the toughest decisions of her life - risk her heart and all she believes in for a man who is completely not right for her, or walk away and risk never finding true love.

This book is racy, fast paced, and interesting. Definitely for readers 18

I especially liked the third highlighted character in this novel - Robert - his story is beautifully written and I give Jennifer Probest kudos for including him in this exciting novel.

Searching for Someday was a great reminder of why I love Jennifer Probst's books so much. She can spin a mix of eclectic, hilarious and steamy aspects into a fabulous book. Searching for Someday is a loosely tied spin-off of Probst's Marriage to a Billionaire series. While this series introduces a
Show More
new set of characters, that I cannot wait to read about, we also get a glimpse of our previous couples :) And the main link between them all is the book of love spells. A book that enables the current owner to make a list of characteristics she wants her perfect man to have and then chant a spell in hopes of finding said perfect man. Which is exactly what down in her love-luck, Kate, did as a last ditch effort to bring herself love and not just everyone around her. Kate and her two best friends own a dating service. And while they mostly operate on their brains and savvy business ideas, Kate also helps out with her witchy powers. She is able to feel the spark when two people are meant to be, and more than once she has found the fated other half of her current date/boyfriend. So, Kate has become exhausted finding everyone else love while she stays single. She makes a deal to just throw herself into her work and give up on ever finding herself a husband.

Enter Slade, in a rage, and throwing insults and accusations at Kate. He believes she's nothing but a con artist out to steal from his sister. So the two butt heads from minute one. Kate is dead set on proving Slade wrong by finding him his own true love- or at least a life companion, because this jaded divorce lawyer does not believe in love. Only one problem, despite his distaste for her profession, Slade can't help but feel a magnetic attraction to Kate. Through a series of up and down events these two will fight tooth and nail against their fate. But when a little bit of magic is involved there are always consequences. Will Kate and Slade suffer at the hand of those consequences or give in to a love they don't believe can exist?

Slade is my type of guy. He is hot, successful and once he falls, he falls hard. But then there's the flip side of him being so frustratingly stubborn, that I would have to curb my urge to smack him on an hourly basis. Kate, bless her heart, as some of the same tendencies. Once she finds what she's been looking for she throws up every excuse not to take it. But no matter the level of their stubbornness Kate and Slade can't keep their hands of one another. So much, to the point that they almost cause irreparable damage emotionally to one another. It was a lot of back and forth between the two. But, their weakness for one another was just too strong to overcome sometimes. Truthfully, this was Probst's best book yet. I could feel the raw emotion between the characters and still had times where I was laughing at their antics. And while I was completely enthralled in Kate and Slade's story, I absolutely cannot wait for Gen's story! The glimpses of the secondary stories kept my attention just as much as the main story. Overall, this is a fantastic read! Also, just a note here- I would not categorize these books as paranormal. They have very minor magic aspects but, are still mostly contemporary.

Happy Reading!

Kate is a romantic and has a matchmaking company to prove it. Slade doesn't believe in happily ever after. When Slade finds out his sister is not only moving out but is becoming active in Kate's company of

matchmaking her brother is very upset. Slade is determined to prove Kate's company is a fraud so he becomes a member.

As a member he is required to learn more about himself and participate in activities regarding himself. As he discovers himself be also becomes very sexually attracted to Kate.

Kate has a magic personality and touch. When she interacts with Slade she has all these wide range of emotions and yearns to be with him physically.

This is a very good book. It is a must read. I suggest it to anyone that wants something sweet, a romance with new characters.

This story takes has many events that are funny. The characters are hilarious and the story has a smorgasbord of interests. I love that it is not a stand alone. I am looking for to the story of Gen, David, Izy and Wolfe.

We are all given "gifts" to make it through life. These "gifts" make us uniquely qualified to deal with life and make a difference. In Kate's instance, her "gift" is a little more unique... she is able to tell if two people are meant for each other by her touch.

What would you do if you had this
Show More
kind of "gift"? That is correct! You would get together with two of your best friends and start a Matchmaking business!

Slade. What can we say about him? He is cynical and does not believe in love and happily ever after. Yes, he is a divorce lawyer. He has seen it all and has stopped thinking two people can find true happiness together.

Of course Kate and Slade are bound to meet... and buck heads like two rams. This delightful story is both entertaining and uplifting. The message still remains that you must be true to yourself and believe in yourself. Two people can find happiness... you just first have to believe love is possible!

Slade's a divorce attorney who is determined to prove the matchmatching agency run by Kate and her two best friends is a fraud, on behalf of his vulnerable baby sister. But if they're not, they can set him up with a smart, curvy brunette, someone who's been around the block a few times.

Blonde,
Show More
idealistic Kate is ALL WRONG for him, from her slender frame, to her becoming-a-nuisance virginity. So why is her "magic touch" telling her that Slade is her soulmate? Surely her gift is one the fritz, somehow.

Really loved this book, and the wonderful characters, from Kate and Slade, to Kate's friends and business partners, her wacky sex therapist mother, and her dog-on-two-wheels, rescue pit Robert. The only down note for me was a chapter where Kate is attending a child's birthday party - there were SO many people and names and things going on that I lost any clue as to what was supposed to be meaningful, though I *think* it was her friend Gen's engagement to her too-good-to-be-true doctor boyfriend. And there are hints dropped throughout that Gen is unhappy, which for whatever reason Kate doesn't follow up on.

The sex is HOT (and always with condoms, yeah safer sex!); Slade's discovery of Kate's abandoned (after all, she didn't LOSE it) virginity and his subsequent freak-out about same, his protectiveness of his sister and tender care for Robert and behavior as a divorce attorney with a heart all make us like him. Kate is somebody I was rooting for, very believable even with her magic skills. The tone and flavor is chick lit, but with that dash of magic, and sexier than your average chick lit. It had me grinning and giggling throughout.

Wow! I am just blown away by this new-to-me author. This was such a great story filled with plenty of heat and sexy goodness *fanning myself* but it also included tons of emotionally charged, warm & touching moments with a dash of laugh-out-loud humor. The dash of supernatural 'clarity' was a
Show More
fantastic catch and was perfect for this story. The lead characters constantly battling their own emotional demons as well as verbally jousting with each other just added to the tension and the pacing of the story was just right. I have to say, there were a few scenes with Robert that just about killed me - talk about your tearjerker moments - I call totally unfair but absolutely beautiful! Loved this & I can't wait for the next one!! Hurry, please!

Jennifer Probst is one of my favorite authors and I love that she weaves a bit of paranormal within some of her books. I felt like it was old home week while reading Searching for Someday because Ms. Probst references characters from "The Marriage to a Billionaire" series and the incantation from
Show More
"The Book of Spells" that continues to bring couples together. In this case, successful matchmaker Kate Seymour and dynamic New York City divorce attorney Spade Montgomery are enchanted.

Kate's power of touch is magical, and it is a gift (or curse) that has been passed down from generation to generation of Seymour woman. By touching two people, Kate is able to sense if they are soul-mates. She and her two best friends from college co-own Kinnections, a matchmaking company located in the small but happening town of Verily, New York. Her gift has definitely added value to the services her company provides. Unfortunately, Kate has yet to find her true love.

Slade is an arrogant, powerful man that works very hard to achieve success. He is divorced and loves his kid sister Jane dearly. So much so, that he has trouble letting her find her own way in the world, even though she is an adult with a stable teaching position. When Jane joins Kinnections, Slade does as well in order to keep an eye on her and make sure she is not being scammed. He and Kate have an instant connection.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are fun, sincere and likable. Kate's mom is hysterical and her comedic commentary could be a book all on its own. Kate and Slade make a nice couple and they both mature a great deal by the end of the story. Their heat is literally shocking and their love is forever.

Kate is a successful business owner of a matchmaking service Kinnection. A firm believer in true love and soul mates. Slade is one of the top divorce lawyers, also a skeptic when it comes to love. So when his sister decides to try Kinnection, he decides to try it himself to prove it's a fluke. Once

Slade & Kate meet, they don't seem to get along but the connection is still there. Both fighting it every step of the way.

This was a fun read! Lots of back and forth between them, chemistry, quirkiness, sweet, it's all there. A little slow to start but definitely a good read so keep with it.

Thoroughly entertaining read that had me turning the pages with great anticipation! Dirty talking Slade Montgomery is absolutely yummy! A man who is hard as steel on the outside but on the inside has a huge heart! Definitely one everyone needs to read!

Not the best, but luckily not the worst I've read, thankfully. I felt that the characters weren't very much connected to each other or that they should communicate more chemistry. I liked the other characters and the books was a light and fast read.

This was my first Jennifer Probst book and I was not disappointed! I will not only continue reading this series, but will also read other books of hers.

When we first meet Kate and first hear about the "touch",
Show More
her family gift/curse, she was on a date that wasn't leading anywhere... At least not for her. Her date on the other made a connection just not with her.

You see Kate co owns Kinnections, a matching making company, she is able to use her gift to help others find their soul mates. Though she goes about the whole process in a very scientific way. I personally love the way she and her best friends run Kinnections. Not only do they help others find love, they also help them learn to love themselves and be the best person they can be by being true to their true selves. This leads us to Jane and Slade.

Slade is a big time divorce lawyer who is pretty set in his ways about love and marriage. Not only does his job make him not believe in either one, but so does his past and his sister Jane.
When we first meet Slade he is trying, and failing, to convince Jane to not move out. Jane was pretty unlucky in love and continuously screwed over so Slade let her move in with him so he could watch over her.. Overprotective maybe but with good reasoning and he loves his family without doubt.

Jane decides to move to the town where Kinnections is and ultimately signs up as a client. Slade being as set in his opinion as he is automatically goes there trying to scare Kate into dropping Jane or says he will prove them as fraud. Not deterred by his threat Slade decides to come at her a different way and asks to be signed up. If she can find him love and make him believe in it, then he knows Jane will be safe with them.. But they both get something that neither one expects.

This book had me feeling pretty much everything! I laughed, I smiled and I even cried. Not to mention there are some steamy scenes as well! If you haven't marked this on your TBR list you should. I don't think there was even one part of this story I didn't like, even the parts that made me sad. Not only did I enjoy the main characters but I also liked the history and connections with the supporting characters and I cannot wait to read their stories!( I am assuming they are getting one)
