Students will learn about the number concept. Number one refers for single item. But one can be more than one. This book also shows us that one pair of shoes, one week, one baseball team, one dozen eggs, one family, and one flock, and so much more. It's an interesting book for children to read

aloud.

This is a fun book with great illustrations. It explains that even though something is classified as ONE it can actually be much more than one. This would be beneficial when teaching place values, counting and several other math concepts as an interdisciplinary connection. I will definitely be

reading this to students one day!

This is a math book for early readers that helps to show them that one does not always mean just 1.
Example: one cookie, one family, one dozen...etc

If I am reviewing this book from a math perspective, I would say it was decent. The book shows how the number one can also mean one -one dozen, and so forth. The book was relatable, but not very intriguing for a young reader.

This is a fun and easy counting book, it starts off with one and then goes to one pair, one family, one dozen, one school, one flock, and many other things that children see on a daily basis. It is easy to read and follow. This is a book to read to younger children to make math exciting and

relatable to their everyday lives.
