This is a Fantasy book because it is all about people who are really little, smaller than babies. I would use this for intermediate grades, and in the classroom for learning about how people might live if they were that small (environment) and on community building. I think the plot was a good

example of plot it started out setting everything up and then in the middle giving a problem that had to be solved, and solving it in the end.

just like them but in a different place. It introduces them to a different style of living that is just as good as theirs.

Theme: The theme of this book is a struggles plot. The trip to Trash City is full of suspense and danger as they search for a place they have never been. After riding in a garbage truck, camping out, dodging cats, and wandering to find Trash City, they finally find what they are looking for.
