New Hampshire Weddings by Rachel Hauck is three stories, all intertwined among the same town and families. In each story, a different main character deals with a different problem and finds their way to the answer through love, faith and friendship. Like other Hauck books that I've read, this was a

light, uplifting read that leaves your heart singing. A perfect book for a lazy summer day.

The back cover sums up these three stories pretty good, "Three women, three hearts, and three stories of love that emerge in the midst of difficult life circumstances". Each story was different, but I appreciated equally all three. These are stories of people who really had issues with 'letting go

and letting God' rule and reign in their lives. I especially enjoyed the spiritual help and comfort this author provided in each story.

In "Lambert's Pride" you have Elizabeth Lambert, who has come back to White Birch to fulfill a family obligation and then she is ready to once again 'get out of town'. But she is thrown off track a little by the young forest ranger named Kavan. Can Elizabeth give up her prideful ambitions and realize that finding real love can be the grandest ambition of all?

In "Lambert's Code" you have Julie and Ethan Lambert, husband and wife, who are faced with a devastating truth, they are not able to conceive children. Julie will bury her pain and make bad decisions that threaten their marriage and Ethan will need to learn and apply the 'Lambert code' if he wants to save their marriage. Both have a lot of growing up and learning to love the way God would have them to. The hurt was real and I especially liked how Julie came to see her problem. "I feel like i've been singled out, and I resent it. Yet I've made an idol out of having children. My dream became more important than You (God) or Ethan. Father, please forgive me".

In "Lambert's Peace" you have "exhausted and anxious" Taylor returning to White Birch to "regroup and refocus" her career. But after 10 years of being gone, she is back, and her feelings for Will Lambert hasn't gone away apparently, even after all these years. Will let her go once, but is bound and determined to not let it happen again. God's peace is needed in Taylor's life and she sees that in Will. Can she rediscover it in her own life?

Real problems, believable characters and an author that gives biblical solutions. Highly recommend.
