Marsh, through reason, has reached what he thinks is a reasonable belief about the reality and nature of God. He concludes that reason can open a pathway to God, a truly personal God, and he feels in this an opening toward joy. God is creator and sustainer of the universe, with purposive mind. He explains his reasoning, which may be convincing to some and unconvincing, even gobbledygook, to others.
