this is the most beautiful lace book I have ever seen and if you love Estonian lace be sure to get yourself a copy while it is obtainable.
There are 14 celebrity patterns (patterns created for Estonian guests of honor like Greta Garbo), 16 Lily of the Valley patterns, 5 Pasqueflower, 24 leaf, 11
There are also pages on how to construct a Haapsalu shawl and scarf, and history of the craft. Finally the photographs are a feast for the eyes.
All patterns are charts so if you like written out patterns, this isn’t the book for you. But if you love nupps and are a fan of charted lace dictionaries you will love this book.
