Summary: Biscuit goes to the big city and sees many things.
Extention: Great early reader - lots of repeated words.

Biscuit visits the big city and has a big adventure!
This is just your standard easy reader. It has big words and only about three sentences to a page. It does tell a lively story with some elements of excitement.
I would recommend it for any elementary library or public library children's section.

Biscuit Visits the Big City is a story about a little girl who takes her dog to the big city. The girl is worried about the dog’s reaction to everything in the big city. The dog gets away from the girl and runs away only to be found at the hot dog stand.

This story could be a great way to

introduce the concept of pet ownership responsibility.

I wish I could say more about this book, but it was very short. It was a fun and easy read. This is a great book for it's category (beginning readers). It repeated words to allow the reader to become used to the words. The art was cute, but not extraordinary.

This book was adorable. I can definitely see this becoming a child's favorite book. The illustrations were adorable and very vivid.

I did not like this book for basic reasons. I believe it did not have a big message for the readers. The language was not descriptive and the characters were not described well. I felt as if I was rereading sentences over and over being many parts were repeated. Also, the illustrations had a big

part of telling the story. If the reader did not view the pictures well, they would not understand parts of the story. This book was written in first person, explained by the main character who was a little girl. I do not think the plot was well organized being it did not have a main topic.
