This is a story of jealousy and compromise. When Fred and Lucy have a baby, they suddenly don’t have time to do all the things they used to with McDuff and he doesn’t like the new baby like they had hoped. Once they realize McDuff had stopped eating they make more time for him doing things all

together and McDuff is happy.

This is an excellent book for children. It is a story about a dog named McDuff who has always been the center of attention to his owners, Fred and Lucy. However, once Fred and Lucy bring their newborn baby home, McDuff instantly gets jealous because he no longer gets their full attention. He

ignores the baby and eventually stops eating, which is when Fred and Lucy realize that he must want things back to the way they used to be before the baby arrived. Therefore, Fred and Lucy compromise by balancing their time with McDuff and the baby as well as doing things together as a family.
I would read this book to students in kindergarten and first grade. A good time to read this book to them is when they are learning about animals or dealing with situations such as jealousy or compromise.

McDuff feels neglected when his masters bring home a new baby to the house. his owners treat McDuff very special to show him that they still care for him. McDuff and the baby finally get along in the end.

McDuff was happy with his lifestyle in every way. However, one day, a stranger arrives and his lifestyle changes. He didn't get the attention that he had and didn't get to do the things that he loved. McDuff stopped eating and that's when Fred and Lucy figured that he was unhappy so they fixed

their lifestyle in the way that it was suitable for all, including the new stranger, which was the baby.

Critique: This is a good example of a fantasy book because the dog feels human emotions. Overall, it does an excellent job of learning how to deal with jealousy and how to cope with it. In class, I might discuss some things that make people jealous and how we can overcome them.

This was a cute book. I would not read it to older students, but I would read it to students between pre-k and first grade. I think that this books can teach students a lot about sharing with other people. I believe that it teaches them that things will change once they get into a new environment.

For example, when children first start school, they learn that they need to share with the other students, such as getting the teachers attention.
