I Spy Fly Guy was funny especially when Buzz forgot they were playing a game and Fly Guy was on Buzz's hat. The boy couldn't find Fly Guy!

An entertaining, easy to follow, and suspenseful read! I would absolutely love to read the other adventures of Fly Guy and Buzz!

This book has great pictures and tells an entertaining story. It is broken up into chapters and comes in part of a series. I think this would appeal to children, especially those with older siblings and friends who are reading more advanced chapter and series books. The whole series would be fun

I Spy Fly Guy is a book for beginning readers about a boy named Buzz and his pet fly named Fly Guy. Buzz liked the fly because he could say his name, Buzz. They liked to play hide-and-seek together and Fly Guy always hid in the garbage can. When Buzz would find him he would say "I spy fly guy" and

when Fly Guy would find Buzz he always said the only thing he could say, "Buzz". One day Fly Guy hid in the garbage can, while Buzz counted, but the garbage man came. Buzz and his dad followed the garbage truck all the way to the dump. Buzz searched everywhere for Fly Guy, but there were zillions of flies everywhere. After many failed attempts, Buzz remembers that they are still playing hide-and-seek. Buzz yells that he gives up and Fly Guy pops out from on top of Buzz's hat. Buzz and Fly Guy went back home.

installment in the “Fly Guy” series tells a suspenseful yet humorous story in a manner that will be easy for children to follow. That is, there are no more than three sentences per page accompanied by large illustrations detailing what is said in the text. The shiny silver cover demands attention and the comical, colorful images of the ill-fated game and its aftermath will aid children’s comprehension of the story. The images show cartoon-like, big-eyed depictions of the characters, both human and insect. The division of the story into three chapters will encourage beginning readers by signaling an advance in their reading skills. This gripping story is recommended.

This is a beginning chapter book for second and third grade students. The chapters are short with more illustrations than text per page. It is about a boy, Buzz, and his pet fly, Fly Guy. They like to play hide and go seek. Fly Guy likes to hide in the trashcan but accidentally get's taken but the

Personal Reaction.
I loved reading this book it showed me how important friendship is. Buzz loved Fly Guy and wouldn't stop looking for him.. True friends are hard to come by, Buzz and Fly Guy are very lucky.

Classroom Extension Ideas.
1. I would read this to the kids in the classroom to show them what friendship really means and show them you can have a friend with anyone or anything.
2. In addition I would do a project with this book just to show the kids having friends is very important.

This story is silly I don't feel that that it much more than a fun read. It doesn't have much connection to any of the subjects or even really a unit. Children like to just hear books just for fun and don't always want to feel like they are reading boring material.

This book is a bridge book that would be good for students who are starting to read them on their own. I think students would like this story because many can relate to having a lost pet.
