This description of what a good Quaker-based education should be remains to the point and contemporary, although his comments about the particular nature of students circa 1969 is irrelevant. His case for the central effectiveness of meeting for worship, the importance placed on service, and the importance of the sense of Quaker community, including the participation of students in communal decision-making after the manner of Friends (meeting for worship for business), Is particularly valuable. The writing style is adequate; the interested reader should persevere to find the very worthwhile content.
