Great ending. Did not disappoint at all. The story closed in a complete circle. I will miss this series and all of the characters in it. I've been following along with this series from the very beginning and I feel like I've gotten really close with the characters. Beautifully crafted southern

Random Thoughts

Man Ethan and Lena were seriously whiny I almost stopped listening to it at the beginning
It picked up half way through and I had to find out how it ended
I have said it before, this would have been brilliant if it was only two books and companion pieces about some of the secondary

characters
Way, way too much -- I just want to get back to Lena crap -- again I am a jaded 43 yr old wife of 20 years
Enjoyed Xavier's character and Ethans trip through the underworld
Everytime they mention Angelus ( Pronounced different) I kept thinking of the Angelus from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel - kept thinking they are pronouncing his name wrong
Nauseating lovey dovey stuff
Uneven - at times I didn't want to stop listening and than I wanted to throw the phone across the wall in frustration
Love Link and Ridley - can't help myself
One word Amma
Loved Ethan in the first 3 books but was irritated with him in this installment
Not enough of Link, John, Makin, Liv, Marianne etc - just way too much oh I miss Wade, Oooh I miss Lena - actually gagged a few times

Favorite Quotes/Passages

“You need help, and that's what books are for.”

“As I followed him along the sharp black stones, I could hear Link's voice in my head. "Bad move, man. He's gonna kill you, stuff you, and add you to his collection of idiots who followed him back to his creepy cave”

“Your bird drinks whiskey and eats tobacco?"
The old man frowned."Just be lad he doesn't like eatin' scrawny boys that don't know their way 'round the Otherworld.” why oh why - so quick and a let down for such a fabulous character

I bought this from Audible cause I just had to know what happened!

Conclusion to the Beautiful Creatures series. Ethan is dead, and the only good thing about it is that he's with his mom. He finds a way to communicate with the living, which becomes crucial when he discovers that his death was a mistake and there may be a way to bring him back.

I was hoping Redemption would knock it out of the park, so to speak. Instead, I got a double. For the most part, this was a satisfying conclusion to the Caster Chronicles. Lena and Ethan’s romance gets a happily ever after; the big bad is defeated; and, we revisit just about every character that
Show More
was introduced. The reason it wasn't a home run for me was that a couple things were so neatly wrapped up as to be almost deux ex machina.

The last book left us with a cliffhanger of Ethan throwing himself from the water tower to save the world. This book begins with him. He’s dead, but shouldn't be. I liked this twist, because it tied the story back to the fabled Caster Chronicles book which was often mentioned but never explored as a concept. It’s not really a spoiler to say Ethan has the chance to come back to life (I mean, really, this is paranormal romance). How he does so is via a quest. He needs some items, which he’ll have to have Lena’s help to get, in order to complete the quest. The rub is that she can’t see or hear him. And one of those items is in possession of the big bad and it will take all his friends still in Gatlin, working together, to get it. Though the first half of the book with Ethan discovering what the heck happened was slow going, the quest was interesting and more about the Caster world was revealed in the process. The second half moved at break-neck speed. And that wasn't necessarily a good thing. Though exciting, some stuff was glossed over too much and the ending should have been tighter.

>>>> I can’t really say how the book failed without revealing two plot points. Lena has to get a quest item from no less than Abraham Ravenwood. The authors spent four books building up just how powerful and evil he is. And, he’s defeated in just a few pages. Now, I will say that I loved the twist of who actually takes him down (which I won’t spoil), but I felt let down that after being the boogeyman for so long the showdown was anything but climactic. I felt a bit cheated. My second issue was how Lena and Ethan’s electrical issue (he gets zapped just kissing her) was resolved. It wasn’t - it just went away. No explanation, just boom! - wow! - we can be together. This was just flat-out lazy writing. The authors didn't even try to rationalize how it happened. >>>>

Overall, I loved the happy ending but just wish the authors had put a bit more effort into working it out without the contrivances. Though this wasn't as strong a conclusion as I would have liked, it was a good story and the series was well worth reading. I am looking forward to the film adaptations. Recommended.

Beautiful Redemption by Kami Garcia was about Eathan's journey back to Lena. He has to face old. enemies, and new ones, and not to mention a ton of magic just to get back to Lena. He even has to face his inner conscience to get back to her. He waas faced with many wars and battles that he had to
Show More
overcome, just for love. Beautiful Redemption was a great book.

I loved Beautiful Redemption. Iloved how i learned so much more about the charectors that i loved, an yet i met so many new ones too! I loved all of the magic in the book, and i loved how Kami Garcia never failed to surprize me every time i flipped a page. Overall, Beautiful Redemption was the perfect end to a perfect series.

The last addition to the Beautiful Creatures series, I have mixed feelings on it. I didn't like how Beautiful Redemption ended the way that it did, I was hoping that after everything Ethan went through in the last book in hopes of restoring The Order, that everything would be perfect and return to
Show More
normal. I suppose that's life, and just saying you can't have things completely perfect without having had some bad thrown in there at one point or another. However, with that being said, I would still recommend this book.

This was the last book and it's pretty good but it really reads like an extended epilogue, especially in the final hundred pages. I don't see how it could have been anything else, however, given the events preceding it.

I guess I am going to have to talk to Hilary about this book, because I'm not really sure how I feel about this ending book. Sort of confused, I guess.

I so wanted to like this book, but I just couldn't finish it. I loved this series when it first came out, but each book seemed to get a little worse. This book was so boring. I've hated Lena for most of the series, so when they finally told part of the story from her POV, I thought maybe, just
Show More
maybe she wouldn't annoy me. Wrong.

Wow- I can't believe this series is over! I have enjoyed the characters so much that even though I'm glad to find out how it all ends, I'm sad that it is the end.

Glad the series finally ended.

I loved this book. It was a pretty good ending to the series. I am glad Ethan and Lena are reunited and that John & Liv are happy. It is funny how Link and Ridley are still sort of together in the end too.

The only sad part was that I was hoping Sarafine would find some kind of redemption too. The
Show More
scenes in the book of her early life where she loved her baby daughter and tried to fight the Dark impinging upon her really made me think she had a chance.

When Ethan and her met in the Labyrinth I thought that maybe they might redeem her character. It seems like such a waste that they didn't. I really wanted my Obi Wan Kenobi moment where she appears as a good ghost. Instead she is lost forever. It just doesn't seem fair.

Through it all the characters were engaging and this book is one (along with the rest of the series) that I will definitely re-read sometime in the future.

O.M.G. I LOVE THE COVER!

In this, the last book in the "Beautiful Creatures" series, Ethan loves Lena and she loves him there is only one problem, he is dead and in a kind of limbo. Can he, with the help of loved ones and other people also in limbo help him communicate with Lena and will she be able to know what he needs
Show More
and get it to him so they can be together?

My problem with this book and the reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seemed to me that sometimes they wrote something to answer a problem instead of the usual well though reason something is solved. But over all a good read and worth the time and cost to do so.

Through the perspectives of Lena and Ethan this final chapter of the Castor Chronicles is told. This novel picks up right where the last one left off. It is Ethan's version of an odyssey, here he must face his past, come to terms with his present, and face his fears to have a future. A well-written
Show More
conclusion to an adventurous young-adult series.

Anxious as he was four books ago to shake the dust off his feet and get the heck out of Gatlin, Ethan has come full circle in his desire to return. Picking up very shortly after the events of Beautiful Chaos, it seems unlikely that he could accomplish this task. But Gatlin isn't like anywhere else,
Show More
a place where the magical Caster world lives side by side an unknowing mortal world and offerings to the greats often reveal true results. The authors did a wonderful job of wrapping up any loose ends from throughout the series. I was glad to finally learn 9 year old Link's secret, the thing that Amma had been using as a discipline tool all these years. From Lena, to Macon, to Amma and even Boo Radley, as sorry as I was to leave this group of characters, this was a great book, worthy of the last in the series.

Reading it in Ethan Wate's POV is eerily creepy! He's a real Edward Cullen vampire. Lena was his best girlfriend.

I was so excited to see the last book in the Beautiful Creatures series.
This book is beyond fantastic. It allows the reader to take a journey of self discovery with Ethan and learn about life, love and a bit of the supernatural. It is spell bounding and shows one how to be aware of your
Show More
surroundings and learn there may be more to the eye than what you see.

If you read the first three books of this series and enjoyed them, then you should definitely continue onto this one. If you haven't even heard of this book or its series, and you love stories about witchcraft and/or love, then this is the perfect book for you. 5Q5P The cover art is awesome and I'd
Show More
recommend this book for high school students and adults. I chose this book because the cover illustration made me curious and I was already in love with the previous books in the series. KaraD

This is one of my favorite endings to a series. Yes, it was predictable, but I really liked the way they tied so many things together.

For lack of a better word, WOW. I can still remember fussing over reading Beautiful Creatures and all of a sudden I had the entire series waiting on my Kindle to be read. I was and still am happy that I decided to read it, I was very surprised and didn't expect what I found in the pages of the
Show More
first book and the same goes for the rest of the series. It was a very unexpected story, for me a unique and clever concept that captured my imagination and captivated me.

As Gatlin continue to suffer from Abraham Ravenwood's evil hands, and the mooon splitting, Ethan realizes he's "The One Who Is Two". He knows he has no choice but to make things right no matter the cost. Ethan made the ultimate sacrifice to save the people he loves, he had to die to create a new order. So the story basically picks up where it left off in Beautiful Chaos and Ethan finds himself on the other side where those who passed on ends up. at least some do it seems. Ethan soon finds out that he's was not suppose to die and there might be a way to return home but it is a very dangerous journey. As Ethan takes up the task of finding his way back to Lena, Amma, Link and his father he realizes there are worst things than dying and things can get even worse than he could have ever imagined.

I enjoyed this last book and seeing Ethan's and Lena's perseverance to find each other again. I'm going to miss everyone, especially Ethan, and Lena, definitely Link, Amma, Macon, Liv, John, and last but not least the sisters. When I finding my self crying at a sad part and then they just pop up on the next page, I find myself laughing. The were three of the most endearing and humorous characters in the story and possibly anywhere. Beautiful Redemption was a befitting ending to a very good story of interesting characters I won't soon forget.

I always wondered what did Amma find Link doing in her basement when he was nine years old. Well, I found out and I was surprised, not what I would have guessed. I also hoped that Ethan would be able to enjoy his chocolate milk again someday, a little biased about that, love chocolate milk a lot myself. I counld understand how hard that would have been for him, to not have his chocolate fix. LOL.

This series should have been 3 books not 4. The middle 2 could easily have been 1 book. Having said that this book is a bit more to the point and wraps everything up nicely. I do wish authors would stop using first person if they are going to switch between character perspectives. I can see why
Show More
they had to switch but it is disorientating for the reader. Kelley Armstrong does it too but I can forgive her as I really love her books. This time it was just annoying.

Beautiful Chaos left me in tears...and I am so glad that Kami Garcia did not end the saga there.

Beautiful Redemption picks up with Ethan in the "Otherworld" trying to get back to Lena and all of his loved ones. Of course, coming back from the dead isn't an easy task, and Ethan needs help from the
Show More
Mortal World to get there. Can Ethan's loved ones in the Mortal World get the Book of Moons to him in the Otherworld? Can Ethan get back?
