This dated, very abstract, and uninteresting pamphlet consists of two essays written in the 1950s by the author when he was a student at Pendle Hill. #1: How can psychology serve the process of spiritual growth? He means psychoanalysis, the theories and techniques of Freud, Adler, Rank, Horney, Jung. This is full of certitude that seems absolutely unjustified. #2: Silent meeting. A psychological interpretation of the mystical path. The unconscious, integration... lots of words thrown around with no insight.… (more)
