After reading this Pendle Hill pamphlet, I've come to the conclusion there is no true Friends School in existence in 2009. But as an ideal to strive for! Well! This is a must read for all teachers, Heads, and Trustees of a Friends School.

Heath wrote this pamphlet to express the challenge of what "many may feel should be the values of a Friends' school." After visiting many Quaker schools and colleges, and finding many ideas and questions about the mission of a Friends' school, he concludes that its "peculiar mission" is to empower
