Moondance was one of my favorite books as a child due to it's simple pictures and powerful message. The bear wants to dance with the moon but it will not come down so he thinks it does not like him. So he dances with the rain and later sees the moon in a puddle (left from the rain). He is able to

dance with the moon and concludes that it liked him all along.

Simple story about a bear who wants to dance with the moon. The ending has the moon reflected in the water so the bear can have his wish.

A very simple story of a bear that want to dance with the moon, stars, fog, & rain.... I found this to be rather uninspiring and flat. The illustrations were equally as uninspiring and flat. I did not use this for my group.
