Our three protagonists are nearing the end of the quest to find out what it means to be the Three, but then they find out that may not be true after all and a cat of the clan dies - and it is not by nature that it happened. Could it be one of the ThunderClan who did it?

This book was great! But the sad part was that I've read the book before this sooo long ago, I can't remember much of what happened, and didn't get the beginning as much as I'd liked...but that's the beauty of Erin Hunter! She always explains most of what happened before so you know what's going

on! Also...I read the next book before this one too, so all those 'deadly' secrets that are supposed to be revelled in the next book, I already knew, so it wasn't that suspensing! But it's ok! I love the part when Jaypaw went back in time, and walked with the cats who lived at the lake before the clans moved in! That was interessting! And when they faked the sign from starclan, I just LOVED that part! I can't wait to read the next series!!!

A little different from the previous Warriors books, it's great to see the authors break some new ground. Some interesting situations and themes. Overall I liked it, although there was one scene that I thought "jumped the shark" and solved a problem in a way that was a little too pat. The book ends

Sol has a grip on ShadowClan and it causes Tawnypelt to leave them and come to ThunderClan where her brother, Brambleclaw, is deputy. Jaypaw, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze know that something must be done to break Sol's hold on the Clans and keep four Clans. While dealing with this, greencough is going

through ThunderClan as well as fire. Then when it looks like ThunderClan will make it through all this, a deeply held secret is revealed. What happens now?

There is a lot going on in this book. Jaypaw, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze are in the middle of it all. I think I know the secret but I guess I'll have to read the next book to find out if I am right. This is the first book that has that big of a cliffhanger. I found Jaypaw's one dream very interesting. I'd like to see where it will go and will the extent of Jaypaw's powers as well as Lionblaze's seeing the spirit of Tigerstar ever by revealed.

I love this whole series. This one is my favorite.
