About the topic: Another word for perfectionism is unforgiveness; if you’ll forgive the theological language—because that’s just the way I am—it’s actually a terrible sin that takes your peace.

About the book: It’s a good book, very step-by-step.

lot of pride in perfectionism. How can I ever let anyone know that *I*—I of all people— could ever make a mistake?

It’s a pretty thorough book, which is nice; the first time I read it, I was very concerned with perfectionistic fear, and I practically skimmed the parts about perfectionistic anger.
